IBPS stands for Institute of Banking personnel selection it is a body which started in 1975 and started recruiting people for many Nationalised banks through 1 exam. IBPS takes care of 2 major exams for 2 major positions, first is at the clerk position and the second is at probationary officer that is Bank PO position. Both of the positions require graduation as the eligibility the exam of the IBPS is known by the name of CWE that is common written exam and it takes care of the job employment in the 29 National banks.

This is an online exam in which passing the cutoff in the individual paper is necessary so a student needs to be good at all of the four subjects that are being asked in the exam. In order to clear this exam you cannot expect a student to be bad at 1 and good at rest all of them and clear the exam because it has individual cut offs. This exam covers 5 major sections that is General awareness, English, numerical ability that is maths, computer knowledge and logical reasoning, When it comes to the eligibility in the age it varies for different post and in different banks so candidate is required to check with the eligibility while filling up of the form and while filling up of the post for his knowledge.

There is no percentage criteria for IBPS PO exam coming to the Age part it is from 20 to 30 years of age. Coming to the detail in the IBPS PO Syllabus there is a difference between the prelims and Mains examination prelim examination would consist of only three subjects that is logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and English and a total of hundred marks would be given & the duration of the exam will be 1 hour and individual cut off is necessary. Whereas the IBPS mains exam consists of 5 subjects a total of 200 marks duration of the paper is 140 minutes and it contains all the subjects reasoning journal awareness English computer knowledge and quantitative aptitude again in this the individual cut off is necessary.

Exam of IBPS Bank PO is generally held in the month of October it is an online exam after which about a month the means of the examination takes place. After the Mains examination it is the interview which is known by the tire 3 of IBPS Bank PO & only those students who cleared the Prelims exam I eligible to sit in the mains exam. It is always advisable that the student should start preparing for the mains exam while preparing for the prelim examination so as to clear the Mains examination with high marks. This will also help the student and boost the confidence of the student while giving the prelim examination.
